വളയത്തിൽ · means “circle”

Valayathil means circle.

One family, three generations removed from a farm in Kerala, now building the systems and telling the stories that come after it. Everything we do sits somewhere on the same circle — where we started, what we build, and who we build it for.

03

The circle we came from

He pointed from a treetop and said: to there. That line became a farm, then a family, then everything after it.

Generations ago, a family leased jungle in Kerala and cleared it by hand. Six men lived in a house built into a treetop while they worked the boundary a grandfather had marked from up there — paddy, pepper, coffee, tapioca, planted right up to the line he’d pointed to. A church went up at the boundary. Then a town grew around the church. The family stayed close to all of it.

Valayathil — circle, in Malayalam — is what that line became once it closed: a name, then a company, built on the same instinct that walked the boundary in the first place. Different tools now. Same shape.

  1. Jungle, on lease
  2. A treetop house, six men
  3. Paddy, pepper, coffee, tapioca
  4. A church at the boundary
  5. A town. Then a company.
